Ed “Hoss” Turlington retired from the military in 2017, having served in capacities ranging from Infantryman in Oklahoma’s 45th Infantry Brigade, Civil Affairs specialist, 82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper, a deckhand on an oceangoing vessel, to Military Police patrol officer in Germany and, later, at the joint US European Command where he protected a 4-star general and his family and visiting dignitaries from bodily injury and invasion of privacy and the VIP living quarters and working quarters against sabotage, riot, and espionage. Turlington is an expert in the usage of numerous firearms to include shotguns, submachine guns, machine guns, pistols, and revolvers. He has intensive training and experience in the areas surrounding physical security and special expertise relative to VIP security and International Terrorism Surveillance.
